Tamarind features renovated and modernised guestrooms, the addition of an intimate spa and relaxation space -- with a range of body services inspired by local ingredients such as Bajan sea salt and Barbadian Moscovado brown sugar -- and two completely redesigned and reimagined restaurants. Pool and communal areas at Tamarind feature contemporary sun loungers, day beds and decks, transforming outdoor spaces into outdoor ‘living rooms’ and providing flexible spaces for dining, drinking, relaxing and events. The changes at Tamarind are not limited to physical amenities alone; the hotel is launching a series of new programs that will be rolled out across the entire Elegant Hotels collection. These include the new “Aqua School,” offering complimentary watersports and instruction, ranging from snorkelling, waterskiing and more, along with “The Flying Fish Kids Club,” which encourages a range of fun filled activities for kids, while the ‘“Club Tamarind” teen lounge provides a “cool” place to hang out with large-screen Wii, popular game consoles and “disco” nights.
